Who are are

Formerly the Vicarage, the building was purchased by a local gentleman who set up a Charitable Trust and then donated the Home to the village in 1986. The Home is still owned by the registered Charity – The Christian Enterprise Foundation – and administered by a small team of Trustees.

Our Registered Manager holds both a management and a care qualification and is highly experienced in the management of care services. Our aim is for the Home to be run on decisions made by the Residents rather than by members of the staff.  The Registered Manager has day to day responsibility for the smooth running of the Home and is also registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection.

The Home underwent a major refurbishment during 2000 and we continually upgrade our services and facilities on a regular basis.

Lakenheath Village Home is well-respected and has an excellent reputation in the area for providing excellent standards of care. We find that most of our Residents have heard of us long before they arrive and their choice to come is often after personal recommendation.
